A Life Lived in Conflict (ALLIC) Podcast Series feature episodes that explores conflict zones and regions affected by war and instability around the world, with a focus on current and evolving crisis. Understanding the complexity of conflicts requires approaches that are interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary. Therefore, ALLIC considers four themes as broad categories, for the sake of internal organisation matters, although there is no hard distinctions between them. In real life, they all are interactive and interrelated. The four theme categories are as follows:
(1) Introductions to Conflict and Borderlands: category No #1 includes cutting-edge research, definitions and conceptual discussions related to conflict and borderlands.
(2) Impact on Culture and Society: category No# 2 highlights the consequences of conflict to identity, culture, and society, including its economy, politics, geography and other areas of influence.
(3) Peace, Humanitarianism and Development: category No #3 is concerned with discussions around peace-building, humanitarianism in theory and practice, and how development can be achieved in areas of conflict, on the short, medium, and long terms.
(4) Personal Experiences in Conflict: category No #4 refers to interviews about personal experiences in living and working in/for conflict-affected areas.
